Meet our expert, Sarah Whitmore

I don’t believe in showroom homes. They look perfect but feel lifeless. A real home is defined by light across a table at breakfast, the hum of an appliance in the background, the rug that softens a noisy room. My years as an interior designer have always been about creating homes that people actually live in, not just photograph.
At Choice Reviews, I test products against that standard: will you still love this chair after collapsing into it for the hundredth time? Will this mixer become part of your daily rhythm, or will it gather dust because it’s too awkward to use? Design should serve life, not dictate it.
My reviews don’t praise perfection. They praise harmony. A home should support its people, not the other way around.
